Cyclist with life-threatening injuries after crash

A cyclist has been seriously injured in a crash near Pocklington.

Police said they were called at about 17:00 BST on Wednesday to reports a grey BMW 330 and a red cycle had been involved in a collision on the B1246 near Kilnwick Percy.

The cyclist, a 52-year-old man, was taken to hospital with what police described as "life-threatening injuries".

Humberside Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident to contact the force.
