The second Sidecar race of the 2024 Isle of Man TT has been red-flagged following a crash involving newcomers Todd Ellis and Emmanuelle Clement.

Organisers said the pair had come off their outfit at Waterworks, shortly after Ramsey Hairpin, but were both OK.

The red flag was needed because the road had been blocked by debris as a result of the crash.

The first Superstock race will now set off at 12:15 BST, followed by the rescheduled Sidecar race at 14:15 and the second Supersport race at 15:30.

The sidecar machines had set off from the start line on Glencrutchery Road for the race, which had been reduced to two laps, at 10:30 BST.

But racing was brought to a halt after just 15 minutes following the crash involving Todd and Clement.

The duo, who are the reigning Sidecar world champions, finished seventh in their debut TT race on Saturday, with Frenchwoman Clement taking the record of fastest newcomer passenger at the event.
