Sgt Rebecca Thomas said: "Officers have made an arrest after reports a woman was attacked by another woman with a piece of broken glass following an argument.

"It's understood the victim received first aid for her injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening or life-altering."

A staff member at nearby Cow Vintage Clothing said: "Police have taped off all of the top of Hockley hill, there's a little bit of blood.

"It's been affecting the area. We're still open but it's affected the amount of people coming in as it's right in front of our shop."

Nottinghamshire Police have asked anyone with information to make contact.
