Mere in Lancashire is one of Britain's most important wetland habitats and is
run by the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust, the largest international wetland conservation
charity in the UK. | |  | After the loss of our wetlands, many are being restored.
They are amongst the very best places for summer wildlife from birds to bugs. | |  | - Wetlands are a must for nature lovers. They are especially
good for bird watching, bug spotting and pond dipping.
