rutting in autumn. 听 The main focal point of the estate is the Monument
to the Duke of Bridgewater, erected in 1832 from which there are good views. There
are also excellent views from Ivinghoe Beacon. | Essential

best time of year to visit is early autumn. There are a number of fungi
forays and organised deer walks throughout the season. Book well in advance. 听 Extensive

and activity days. 听 Autumn tree displays. Deer watching. Fungi forays.
Woodland birds - Woodpeckers, Nuthatch and Woodcock. Buzzards and Red Kites.
The
Edible Dormouse, with its grey fur and bushy tail, is also found in deciduous
woodland on the estate. These small mammals nest in tree holes and sometimes in
bird boxes during daylight hours.
