Connect Clubs
It’s nearly the time of year for joining or renewing Golf Society Membership. This runs from March/April to October with monthly events, and are a mixture of our standard 27 hole (all day) events and 18 hole events at more premium courses. We have scheduled activities throughout the year for lots of Clubs including the Wine and Beer Society, Snowsports Club, Ariel Sub Aqua Club, Music, Running, Photography, Radio Theatre and Rambling Clubs. The New Season for Ariel Yacht Club also begins soon so make sure you keep up with everything:
Canal Cruising
The new season for our canal boat Savoy Hill also begins soon with a massive £250 discount off 7 nights and £500 plus a further 5% discount off 14 nights for Canal Cruising members. All ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Club Members can join Canal Cruising for just £12.50 per year and booking is available now.
Prospero Society
Of course The Prospero Society is ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Club’s Connect group for retired members. It is totally separate from this Prospero newspaper! Prospero Society Membership costs £20 annually, to join you can call the Club Hub on 0208 752 6666. Prospero Society newsletters are emailed or posted to Prospero Society members and can be emailed to retired Club members. They can also be viewed on the Prospero ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ page of the ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Club website:
Events
Retired Club members continue to benefit from a range of trips and events, upcoming events include The Wallace Collection guided tour, a musical evening of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons by Candlelight, a talk ‘Behind the Iron Curtain’ followed by a meal and Swan Lake at the Royal Albert Hall. Our trips are available to all retired ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Club members (and their guests). Those who are members of the Prospero Society do get a week priority booking as well as discounted rates.
³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Club W1 and ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Club Hub
³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Club W1 is being relocated to Media Café in London Broadcasting House on the ground floor. The area is being refurbished prior to opening and will be accessible to retired members. During this time you will be able to collect your Radio Times via the main Wogan House reception.
