
Red Nose Day is back with comedy and entertainment’s biggest night of TV coming live from Media City UK in Salford on Friday 21 March from 7pm.
This year’s Red Nose Day night of TV, Comic Relief: Funny for Money, will entertain the nation with a star-studded line-up of sketches, live performances and special surprises bringing audiences together to raise a laugh and vital funds for important causes.
This year Red Nose Day is celebrating 40 years of going big, giving big, and feeling good together. The unmissable show will bring the nation together with hilarious sketches, live performances, surprise moments, and musical acts – all to raise vital funds for good causes across the UK and around the world.
Expect side-splitting sketches featuring some of the biggest shows on the ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ, including Strictly Come Dancing, Gladiators, Not Going Out and Beyond Paradise. Plus, in a truly unmissable moment, one of the most hotly anticipated musical reunions in history will be getting the Red Nose Day sketch treatment. It's Definitely (Maybe) not to be missed!

Comic Relief Red Nose Day 2025 Presenters
Hosting the action live from Salford will be an all-star lineup.
Jonathan Ross, Davina McCall, Joel Dommett, Alison Hammond, Rylan Clark and Alesha Dixon will present on ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ One from 7-10pm, before Tom Allen and AJ Odudu take over from 10pm on ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Two.

Oasis: The Reunion: The Movie

In an exclusive sketch for Red Nose Day 2025, an Inbetweeners reunion is on the cards as James Buckley and Joe Thomas take on the roles of legendary Gallagher brothers, Liam and Noel, in a parody charting their journey from Manchester lads to global rock superstars.
Expect all the drama, sibling showdowns, and unexpected celebrity cameos, wrapped up in a heavy dose of Britpop nostalgia, iconic 90s music moments, and cheeky humour.
Adding to the fun is a star-studded cast, featuring Hugh Dennis, Martin Lewis, Micky Flanagan, Vernon Kay, Mark Silcox, Tasha Ghouri, Melvin Odoom, Roisin Conaty, and Piers Morgan, all stepping into memorable roles from the band's legendary rise to stardom.
Not Going Beyond Paradise

A huge ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ crossover is coming to cause comedy chaos.
Exclusively for Red Nose Day 2025, the worlds of two of the ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ’s most loved programmes collide for the first time ever as Sally Bretton, who plays both Lee’s wife Lucy in Not Going Out and DI Humphrey Goodman’s wife Martha Lloyd in Beyond Paradise, takes on both roles in a hilarious mix-up of mistaken identities.
Joining Sally Bretton are her onscreen husbands: Lee Mack, who plays Lee in Not Going Out, and Kris Marshall, who plays DI Humphrey Goodman in Beyond Paradise. Zahra Ahmadi also appears as Esther Williams from Beyond Paradise, and fans will spot more familiar faces from both shows throughout the sketch.
The sketch sees the characters’ worlds unexpectedly collide, setting the stage for a comedy of errors that’s not to be missed.
Expect identity mix-ups, misunderstandings, and classic slapstick humour in this unmissable Comic Relief special.

Kurrupt FM’s self-appointed manager Chabuddy G is stepping into the legendary Gladiators arena for an exclusive Red Nose Day 2025 showdown.
Full of confidence and bravado, Chabuddy G arrives at Sheffield Arena convinced he’s about to join the ranks of the mighty Gladiators. But his dream of arena domination is short-lived when he discovers he’s not a Gladiator at all – he’s a contender whose first challenge is a head-to-head duel with none other than human powerhouse Bionic.
Can Chabuddy G hold his own, or will Bionic’s pugil stick bring his dreams crashing down? And more importantly, what Gladiator name will he bestow upon himself?
Strictly Come Dancing The New Pro Dancers

Are Rachel Parris and Russell Kane the next Strictly stars?
Starring Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman, the sketch follows the journey of Melissa (Rachel Parris) and Johnny (Russell Kane), two unlikely newcomers who take on the challenge of joining the Strictly professional lineup due to new inclusivity rules, which require a certain percentage of professionals to be... amateurs!
Filmed in an observational documentary style, the sketch tracks their surprising audition process as Melissa and Johnny land the job as Strictly’s first-ever amateur professional dancers. But in a sad twist of fate, both their celebrity partners mysteriously pull out of the next series at the last minute, citing identical farcical injuries.
But Tess and Claudia, always quick on their feet, hatch a clever plan. Tune in to see how it unfolds!
EastEnders special for Comic Relief

EastEnders is working with Comic Relief this Red Nose Day to produce an exclusive 5-minute episode that will focus on Phil’s mental health and the importance of treatment.
For the past few months, EastEnders’ Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) has been at the centre of a mental health storyline which saw his character reach a crisis point when he attempted to take his own life on the EastEnders 40th anniversary as his depression with symptoms of psychosis took hold.
Whilst at the mental health unit, Phil makes friends with a patient called Andy (Jake Rory) who shares details of his time at a homeless youth hostel, and the pair soon realise that they have more in common than first anticipated.

Gethin and Helen’s Wheely Big Challenge

This Red Nose Day, Morning Live presenters Gethin Jones and Helen Skelton will take on their most retro challenge yet: a 24hr throwback roller disco. Joined by some familiar faces, they’ll be lacing up and skating round-the-clock to face a Red Nose Day challenge like no other, all to support people facing the toughest times.
Together they’ll celebrate the past four decades through a challenge which embodies the spirit of Comic Relief: fun, silliness, determination, endurance and togetherness.

Billy Monger: The Race Is On For Comic Relief brings all the up-close and personal drama of Billy Monger’s colossal IRONMAN challenge for Comic Relief. The documentary will follow Billy in his bid to become the youngest ever double leg amputee to complete an IRONMAN World Championship in Kona, Hawaii, all in support of Red Nose Day.
Airing on Wednesday 19 March, ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ One and iPlayer at 9pm, viewers will follow Billy’s arduous 12-month long journey as he prepares to take on his biggest ever challenge. The ultimate test of mind, body and spirit will see the sports star and TV personality face a 2.4-mile open water swim, a 112-mile bike ride in fierce crosswinds, and a 26.2-mile run in the Hawaiian heat, all while striving to break the IRONMAN World Championship course record for a double leg amputee. Emma Willis and Asim Chaudhry round off Comic Relief's 40th Birthday celebrations with Comic Relief: 40 Years of Funny, a 60-minute retro romp full of Red Nose-stalgia, greatest hits, side splitters,shockers and jaw droppers from the great and good of British comedy. Classics from French and Saunders, Alan Partridge, Mr Bean et al and special tributes to some of the legends of the game who have gone about and beyond for the Nose, including Peter Kay, Catherine Tate and James Corden’s Smithy. Alongside the crown jewels of the Comic Relief archive, expect lesser spotted rarities, deep cuts and a few surprises from the last four decades. We’ll also be casting a critical eye over all the official singles – including the 14 number 1 smashes and (un)scientifically declaring the greatest one of all. It’s not ‘The Stonk’. Red Peter
Blue Peter will once again be renamed Red Peter to celebrate Red Nose Day 2025. Fresh from his Ironman challenge, Billy Monger will be a guest on the programme, taking on a subterranean go-karting challenge and surprising a school to say thank you for their fundraising efforts. Presenters will also find out how Blue Peter fans across the country have been raising money. There will be a performance in the studio, a world record attempt and appearances from some of the stars of the night of TV.
