Emma Jones became a journalist when she realised she wasn't clever enough to be a doctor, or stupid enough to risk a life as an actress. Started as a news journalist, but found that she was always being asked to do pieces that were sport related like Glenn Hoddle leaving the England job, so finally admitted defeat and became a sports reporter full time. Favourite sporting moment so far She was lucky enough to be sitting on Centre Court to see Goran Ivanisevic beat Pat Rafter in the Wimbledon Final. Best recent moment of broadcasting While hosting a Rugby World Cup preview show in a pub in Richmond with lots of the Harlequins players, she asked Tony Diprose if he had ever been to a brothel. Emma loves watching sport but is not so keen on the participation bit. She did once represent her school at javelin, basketball and volleyball in a short and not very illustrious sporting career.
