The biggest sailing event in Europe in 2008 will see 70 Tall Ships converge on the River Mersey at Liverpool between the 18th and 21st July.
It's a highlight of the Capital of Culture year which will attract up to a million visitors, all vying to see majestic sailing ships from many nations berthed in the city.
All 70 ships will gather on the Mersey on Monday 21st July for the spectacular Parade of Sail before setting off for Norway.

Meet the crew
Captain Clare Cupples is the Master of the Lord Nelson. She'll be in charge of the first Tall Ship to compete with an all-female crew. Like all the ships, its crew consists of professional sailors working alongside volunteers setting sail on the journey of a lifetime. The Lord Nelson is operated by Jubilee Sailing Trust, who give disabled and able-bodied people the opportunity to share the experience of Tall Ship sailing.
Emma Doneghan, Mark Young and Lee Wilson are all young people from Liverpool, who will be sailing on the Stavros S Niarchos. They'll be reporting on what it's like to board for the first time and meeting some of the young sailors of many nationalities who will be converging on Liverpool.
Stuart Wood is a senior river pilot on the Mersey. It's his job to pilot ships safely in and out of the city's waters every day and he'll be helping co-ordinate the spectacle of 70 sailing ships together on the Mersey.
All of our mobile correspondents are equipped with video-equipped mobile phone to bring us the latest and most personal views from the Tall Ships weekend.
