The Kop's
Last Stand at the Museum of Liverpool Life remembers the famous terrace
ten years after its demolition. The all standing Kop stood from 1906
to 1994 and in that time became an intrinsic part of Liverpool Football
Club. Some of the earliest images on display date from 1906 while
one image shows the Kop before its roof was built in 1928. Many of
the terrace's famous characters such as Dr Fun are also shown.

At
The Conservation Centre, Everton's 80s Heroes looks back at Everton's
most successful period 20 years ago when Howard Kendall was in charge.
During that period Everton won the FA Cup in 1984, played in the
historic all Merseyside Milk Cup final and in 1985 won the League
Championship, European Cup Winners Cup and the Charity Shield. The
exhibition covers seasons 1984-7 with one picture showing 成人快手 Radio
Merseyside presenter Billy Butler leading the chanting in Rotterdam
city square, prior to the European Cup Winners Cup Final victory
against Rapid Vienna.

Both
exhibitions feature Liverpool Daily Post and Echo archive photos,
the Kop's Last Stand includes images of many Liverpool greats from
Bill Shankly and Kevin Keegan to earlier stars like Harry Chambers
and Don Mackinlay. Everton's '80's Heroes includes a picture of
Howard Kendall cradling a giant bottle of champagne awarded for
Manager of the Month and fans in Bluebird mascot costume.

of Liverpool Life curator Jen McCarthy says of The Kop's Last Stand
"This is a wonderfully evocative exhibition which perfectly
captures the raw excitement and energy generated in the Kop."
Kay
Docherty, assistant curator at The Conservation Centre where Everton's
80s Heroes is exhibiting says "This exhibition gives a fascinating
insight into Everton's string of 1980's successes and highlights
the fabulous rapport between manager , players and supporters."
Everton's
80s Heroes is at The Conservation Centre from 28 May to 19 September
