It’s all part of Radio one’s John O Groats to Lands End voyage in which Moyles and his team trek across Britain in the name of Red Nose Day 2005. After broadcasting from the studios in Liverpool they moved onto Liverpool’s Albert Dock where an array of vintage cars were waiting.

It was a grand display including the A Team van, The Starsky & Hutch 1976 Ford Gran Torino, The General Lee from The Dukes Of Hazzard (A 1969 Dodge Charger), K.I.T.T. from Knightrider - a Trans AM and of course The Moyles’ The Truck Of Luck, which no Moyles mission could be without. Chris was accompanied by the glamorous Rachel Stevens who came up from London to join in the Red Nose Rally. She will be travelling in the Knight Rider car in the leg from Liverpool to Birmingham.

The rally began in John O Groats, and moved south through Inverness, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Leeds, Manchester, before the Liverpool stop. The rest of the tour takes them through the Midlands and Cornwall, down to Lands End before they head to London for the finale for Comic Relief Red Nose Day on Friday 11th March. The gang claim they will do anything to raise cash for comic relief, the more money you raise the more chance you have of convincing the motley crew of completing your challenge, so dig deep.
The total raised so far is £209,132, check the Radio one website to see where they are up to. In pictures - To view the photo gallery of Chris in Liverpool, click the link at the top of the page. |
