Adult Learners Week offers people the chance to think about learning a new skill, and have a go at something they've always wanted to.

Chris experiments with a new look

'Apex' are based in Charles Street in Leicester - they've been teaching adults for years in basic numeracy and literacy, computer skills and languages.

But on Thursday 22 May 2008 the tables were turned on the teachers!

Pupils were offered the chance to teach the teachers and hidden talents and hobbies were shared all day long.

Wendy Chamberlain from Apex called 成人快手 Leicester's Chris Baxter and challenged him to have a go at two of the tasks...

First Chris had a go at arranging some flowers to make a get well soon present for Ben Jackson - a close friend and fellow 成人快手 Leicester presenter.

Next Chris was taught how to put on a sari and even wore one himself!

He chose a green sari to match his eyes and was amazed by the six yards of material it took to make the sari.

Chris said that wearing it wasn't too strange for him because he wore a kilt on his wedding day - all the women at Apex agreed that he looked great!
