Gok Wan is the best friend that every woman wishes she had, to show them how to look good and feel even better. So what's it like being Gok? Gok Wan grew up on Fosse Road North in Leicester's West End. At the age of 21 he moved to London to study at the Central School of Speech and Drama, but soon discovered that his real love was fashion. Since then he's styled many celebrities, and although he is too modest to name names, his CV mentions Brian Ferry, Blondie and Erasure. So it's not as if Gok wasn't used to a bit of glamour, but being asked to present Channel 4's 'How to Look Good Naked' was what really shot the fashion stylist into stardom.

He also builds up her self-esteem along the way, showing her that cosmetic surgery isn't needed for her to look and feel slimmer. Then, as the grand finale, he asks her to pose naked for a photographer as proof of her newly discovered self-confidence. 'How to Look Good Naked' has been hugely successful, which Gok says is because the programme features real women and gives good advice for all shapes and sizes. There are plans for a second series and possibly a book, but even now Gok says he can't walk down a street without being stopped by women…and men! But how do you look good naked?
