There was a manager, he was so thin, and his first day as a manger he got a name straight away - splitpin - he was never known as anything else.
It was a tremendous place for puting names on you in no time at all. Sammy Kinear, Sammy was a plater most of his life, but he got promoted to manager, he got into an office as manger and on his first day on Monday morning in the job, the door opened and this fella who`d been a former mate of his as a plater, looks in and says "hello Sammy what about you, how you doing ? And Sammy calls him over and says "look " he says "Its Sammy no more, Its Mr. Kinear". So he was never know as anyhting else as Sammy no more after that.
