Fruit case

My boyfriend is Brazilian and, as we all do when being abroad, during his first months in Spain he quickly managed to learn all kinds of coarse words. As those who have stayed in Spain for a while know, gilipollas is a quite common insult back in my country (meaning something like idiot or stupid).
Once I asked him to go to the supermarket to buy chirimoyas which is a delicious fruit (called fruta-do-conde or pinha in Brazil). Well, he somehow got mix up and he actually ended up asking the storekeeper for tres gilipollas in stead of tres chirimoyas. As you can imagine, the fruit seller burst into laughter and told him that, in fact, he could find more than three gilipollas not far from there. It's always funny to remind him of this story ...
