I've got a big wife
My linguistically incompetent grandparents were on holiday, eating in a posh top-notch French restaurant. Always looking for opportunities to speak French, hiding their phrase book under the table, my grandmother, wanting to express her hunger, says to the waiter, who politely comes over to take their order, J'ai une grande femme. French speakers amongst you will realize that to some English ears there seems to be no difference between the two French words, femme, wife, and faim/avoir faim, to be hungry. Of course, the correct expression for this instance may have been, J'ai très faim. I'm sure the waiter wasn't interested, whether my grandmother had a big wife or not, he just wanted to know what she wanted to eat.

that's because the m in this word is pronounced like a n ... this is an exception. If it had happened to me, I would really have looked puzzled XD
