Town idiot
Whilst in Paris with my friend, we met up with our lovely French friend Fabien. He commented that the best way to see the city would be to hire bikes. He went on to tell us where to hire them, when my friend interupted with Oui, mais je suis un idiot dans la ville! - Yes, but I am an idiot in the town! instead of un idiot en vélo - an idiot on a bike. We laughed, and now my friend gets referred to as the town idiot!
