Super what? (English/Polish)

I was visiting a Polish friend who had offered to cook me lunch. As I was still learning Polish and she English our conversations used to be 'duo-lingual'. When she told me she was cooking one of my favourite dishes, I said "Wow! Super dooper" - and got a slap! 'Super' in Polish is the same as in English but dupa, similarly pronounced as 'dooper' means 'bottom'!

Its a bit like the Department for Work and Pensions or DWP. Dwp (pronounced doop) is Welsh for stupid.

Yeah, dupa is used as a rude description for a girl - attractive one as well as stupid or ugly - it depends on the context.

Dupa in this context can also mean 'girl' in a vulgar way, so no wonder she slapped him.
