Our band is one running cliche when it comes to bad habits for rock bands!

What's the band's history so far?

Chris and Kenny have been friends since primary school and Kenny met Mark whilst at college. They started a band called The Mist which went through many different personnel changes before collapsing in 2004. Mark met Iain at Huddersfield Uni and their mutual love of music was the catalyst for Mark to call Kenny and Chris and get The SnowByrds up and running. The band now gigging constantly and have risen to the top of the Blackburn music scene and have recently recorded their first demo as The SnowByrds. They have started to book themselves into the big venues in Manchester to start the next chapter of The SnowByrds story.

Style and influences?

Chris writes the catchy lyrics with the band putting down the eclectic music. The tunes are influenced by Chris's life and the experiences he has been through such as homelessness and stowing away in the back of the Stiff Little Fingers tour bus whilst they were playing in Blackburn. The bands musical style is heavily influenced by Led Zepplin and The Who but with a bluesy twang.

Best moment so far?

Packing out our last gig in Blackburn and selling out of our demo cds within half an hour and then carrying on the party when the pubs had closed.

Worst/most embarrassing moment so far?

Various stories concerning groupies...
