What's the band's history so far?

In the year 2000, four elite crack bravado bums were hand-picked by the legendary Professor Reeves Schmiler A.K.A the Governor. They became an undercover squad of freedom-fighting mercenaries who would be known as the Disco Police. Their one mission, to save "The Kids" from the evils of the plastic generation and along the way kill Phil Collins.

During this journey, some of the most legendarily manic rock n roll shows ever to have graced the north west - if not the world - have been staged, and in mid-2005, numbers were bolstered by the addition of a violinist and harmonica player and a 6-track demo, City of Fire, was recorded.

Style and influences?

Best moment so far?

Playing the main stage at the Grand Theatre, supporting Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes last November. The headliners made things very difficult for us, but the show went down a storm and the Grand liked it so much, they've agreed to have us back there for our own headlining show (with The Moogs and Sinister Footwear) on the 21st May 2006. Be there - it'll be the greatest live music event of the year, guaranteed.

Worst/most embarrassing moment so far?

From a band that knows no shame? Not a chance!

What's your favourite song? Or which song do you wish you'd written?

Most of the band probably would've liked to have written Dark Side of the Moon, though if it had been down to us, it probably would've ended up sounding more like The Cramps.
