What's the band's history so far?

The Jackdaws are a four piece indie/rock/blues band from the North of England. Formed in March 2004, The Jackdaws soon realised that this was something special! After a change of sticksman (Matt Middleton replaced by Jon 'Ringo' Stark) in October 2004, things really began to fall into place.

With energtic frontman 'Frenchie' and his writing partner Julian Whittle on constant good form, and the rest of the band playing as if they've been together forever, the gigs must be seen to be believed! Wowing audiences with their arsenal of original material, they are building a strong and loyal fanbase in the Lancaster and surrounding area.

As we enter 2006, The Jackdaws (accompanied by their t-shirt and hoodie wearing groupies) are setting a standard of songwriting and live performance that should see them catapulted to the musical heights they so deserve!

The Stone Roses, Oasis, Arctic Monkeys, Neil Young, ODB, The Beatles, The Who, The Stones, Bob Dylan to name only a few!

Live performance and quality of songwriting are improving with every passing hour ....seeing is believing!
