Take a look round.  An immense vista greets the pilgrim entering the Quire, the longest of any English cathedral.  The only remaining gate of the City. The public buses were first tested thorugh these arches.  Another view of the Westgate Towers, this time from the High Steet.  Half way down the High Street on the King's Bridge where Weaver's House and Eastbridge Hosptial are.  The remains of a square Norman Keep. It is now two storeys high as the height was reduced in 1817.  The walls are 9 ft thick. It measures 87 by 75 feet. The Norman Keep was once used as a gas works.  Take a spin round this part of the campus of the University of Kent at Canterbury.
