Half way down the High Street on the King's Bridge where Weaver's House and Eastbridge Hosptial are. The remains of a square Norman Keep. It is now two storeys high as the height was reduced in 1817. The walls are 9 ft thick. It measures 87 by 75 feet. The Norman Keep was once used as a gas works. Take a spin round this part of the campus of the University of Kent at Canterbury.
