This film forms part of a recently-introduced teachers pack for Kent schools, designed to introduce Key Stage 3 (aged 11-14) students to aspects of Gypsy Traveller culture and history. Brittania, born in a wagon in 1921 The ‘Kushti Atchin Tan’ teacher’s pack, meaning ‘Good Stopping Place’ outlines the history of Romany travellers and the impact of their language in an English classroom.
