The vision

Waterstone Park is complete and currently includes homes, public space and parkland. All this alongside the renovated formal gardens of Stone Castle, a Grade II listed building just north of Bluewater.

The site has a mix of houses, apartments and affordable properties, as well as seven acres of new parkland and dedicated children's play areas.

Where is it?

Waterstone Park is located to the north of Bluewater shopping centre, just off the A226 near Stone.

When is it happening?

The development has been completed and the developers are hoping for all flats and houses to be sold and occupied by 2011.

History

The forty foot high flint tower of Stone Castle is the only remaining part of what is thought to be a Norman keep or fortified manor house. The rest of the building dates from the 1820s.
