By Tom Kirkby Bradbourne school in Seveoaks was the location for my next venture into the world of art. Rib Bloomfield and Rose Bridgland are two artists who's work are on show. The exhibitions consists of contempory paintings and prints from the two artists.
Sevenoaks's Bradbourne School is host to the town's contemporary art exhibition. Rose Bridgeland and Rib Bloomfield are two well established artists who have created the many pieces that graces the school plain white walls.
By Rose Bridgeland
Rib's work has generated serious interest from the likes of Elton John and has had major success. As Rib's 'overwhelming lifelong passion has been to make beautiful things to communicate the sense of wonder we feel as small children', it sees that the Sevenoaks school is a fitting location.
Rib's strong passion for his work听 is evident from reading his thoughts published in the gallery's reading material. Rib tries to communicate his self confessed 'obsession for beauty' and his reminiscent feelings for childhood.
Rose Bridgeland's work, unlike Rib's, holds an abstract feel to it. With a multitude of colours forming a multitude of feelings within her work.
The exhibition runs from 5th - 25th of September at Bradbourne School, Sevenoaks.
