Just after arriving at the office, I walked in and sat at my desk ready to receive听 the flood of emails, as per usual. Whilst squinting trying to read the small print on the bright computer screen I saw a figure standing next to my desk and a voice addressing me. As I looked up to my astonishment, there was Micheal Fish 成人快手 weather legend standing pointing at my red t-shirt featuring a 成人快手 weather logo on the front of it. "Where did you get that t-shirt from, its great" Micheal said. Still amazed that Micheal Fish, famed for reassuring veiwers that there was "no hurricane" a day before the biggest one in British history struck, was standing there complimenting me, I explained where to go to acquire a similar T-shirt. Finally a picture was taken and here I am writing about the the day I met Micheal Fish with a smile on my face. Electric Gardens

To get to the festival, I needed to pluck up some courage and find out how easy it is at the 成人快手 to obtain some press passes. Obviously as a music fan and new to the world of journalism, this was a big thing for me to do. After liasing with the friendly organizers at Electric Gardens I managed to gain two tickets to the eagerly awaited festival. Every year Kent seems to miss out on the major music festival scene during the summer. So for bands such as Audio Bullies, Armand Van Helden, The Automatic, Mystery Jets, The Fratellies and many more to step foot within the Garden Of England, its generally a big thing for the county. After going to bed late the previous night due to technical difficulties with my recording equipment, I woke up the next morning at 8 am allowing a few hours sleep. When arriving at the festival I was greeted by a scenery uncommon to surround a modern music festival. Rolling hills and lush greenery stretched as far as the eye could see creating a relaxing atmosphere for the average festival goer. After unfortunately lengthening my journey for about an hour and a half, it was nice to finally arrive at the scenic destination. The day was going to be a long one with an interview to do and many bands to see. A lot of interest was generated by a stage name The Myspace New Music Stage. This was one area music lovers could go to see listen to the best new unsigned bands around. One band that stuck out, were the elegant bachelors. The electro-rock three piece from Maidstone have an intriguing sound familiar to the recent 'rave revolution' hailed by the NME. The weekend proved to be a tiring but an enjoyable one. Even though there were an overwhelming number of bands to keep track of, most of them I love, so I couldn't complain. |
