Hi there I'm Nicola Rees聟 thanks for watching
me on Inside Out in Yorkshire and Lincolnshire. Since I started this
job in 2005, I've worked on some fantastic local stories聟 I've flown
with the Yorkshire Air Ambulance Paramedics, bobsleighed in Austria with Britain's
fastest woman on ice, and I've even learnt to drive a 2 Litre Westfield in the
UK's most challenging uphill race, the Harewood Hillclimb. You can probably
see why I never complain about coming to work! My background is Journalism;
I trained at the University of Central Lancashire and then went on to work as
a Reporter for 成人快手 Radio Leeds. Reporter of the Year | Already
taken off... |
Over the last few years I've worked on some big
news stories for the station... I've carried out investigations into cases
of abuse in care homes in West Yorkshire, I've reported live from the scene of
accidents and murders, I've had exclusive access to Police raids and undercover
operations, and in 2006 I was crowned When I'm not busy researching stories
and interviewing people, I like being outdoors, whether it's walking my dog on
Otley Chevin or running along the Meanwood Valley Trail in Leeds. This
latest series of Inside Out in Yorkshire and Lincolnshire is as exciting as ever,
and I hope you enjoy watching it as much as I enjoy working on it. See
you Wednesdays at 7.30pm.
