- At the East Gate, second-in-command of CSC Kevin Conde decides to play a trick on the nervous guard unaware that Halt and a party of men have already ventured into the forest.

- 3.30am Kevin and a colleague take their patrol car onto the runway, turn round on a 360 degree lock and point all manner of red, blue and white lights into the air.
