Peter
was born in Worcester and is largely a self-taught artist.

voluntary retirement from British Telecom, I took painting and woodcarving
more seriously.

"I
am a versatile multi-media painter matching the medium to the subject.
"My
preferred subjects being the figure, portraits, harbours, seascapes,
caricatures and cartoons. I also like the freedom and interesting
effects of semi abstract painting."
Amongst
his commissioned works are portraits, churches, Cornish fishing
villages, caricatures and lifeboats for the R.N.L.I.
Peter
is a tutor at Bevere Vivis Gallery and Picture Framers in Worcester,
he will be the featured artist of the month in April 2003 with his
exhibition ‘Dance’ .
