St George's Lane backs onto the Birmingham to Worcester canal - so balls can occasionally get a bit wet. In 1959 Worcester City knocked Liverpool out of the FA Cup at The Lane. WCFC鈥檚 record win was 18-1 v Bilston in the Birmingham League in 1931.
