Alison Moyet talks to 成人快手 Hereford and Worcester's Tony Fisher about her new album The Turn, over a Pie and a Pint. She began her pop career in 1981 as one half of the electropop duo Yazoo with former Depeche Mode member Vince Clarke. They recorded two albums and had several hits, including Only You and Don't Go before they disbanded in 1983. The following year Alison launched her solo career with the release of Alf. Alison also performed at the historic Live Aid concert alongside Paul Young, and later made an unscheduled return to the stage with Bob Geldof, David Bowie and Pete Townshend to provide emergency vocals on Let It Be when the microphone on Paul McCartney's piano failed.
