Help playing audio/video All for her childIvana arrived at S&A Produce from Bulgaria during the summer to start saving the 拢30,000 she desperately needed to pay for a life-saving operation for her young daughter. She said they were cold and wet when they first arrived at their new place of work, and had been on a bus, travelling, for three days. When they first arrived, Ivana was shocked with the S&A camp when she saw the outside of her living accommodation, and described it as a container, about three to five metres long, to house four people. The top of a toilet cistern is missing Basic accommodationIvana said her container had a toilet, but some others were too small to have one, and also there was nowhere to store her clothes in the rest of the container. Sometimes she has to put up with the actions of the other girls she lived with, who had invited men into their shared room. FearIvana described how there was a lot of pressure to pick fruit and people were afraid of their jobs. The workers say the company operates a football-style yellow-card disciplinary regime. Very little storage area is available Some of the migrant workers at first didn't speak good English, and Ivana said she didn't have a lot of help when she first arrived. Pay deductionsAlso she had some pay deducted from her earnings and she didn't know why, even questioning if it was her own mistake. Money was stopped though to pay for entertainment, which Ivana described as for the use of computers - claiming there were twelve in total for the use of over 2,000 people. S&A Produce statement extractIn terms of 成人快手 Hereford and Worcester's overall investigation, S&A says: "We are very proud of the hard work and effort that goes into ensuring that we run a professional and highly ethical business. We have very positive relationships with the Transport and General Workers Union, Ethical Trading Initiative, and are regulated by the Agricultural Wages Board." On the specific issues raised by Ivana in the first part of her interview with our reporter Carson Wishart - and in particular the complaint about people having sex in the bed next to her inside her accommodation which is a metal container, S&A says in summary: "We cannot police what workers do in their accommodation or their spare time. She appears to have suffered an intrusion into her privacy and had she reported the incident, we would have taken appropriate action." As for housing some of their workers in metal containers - for which deductions are made from their pay packets - S&A says they're commonly used throughout Europe on agricultural and construction projects.
