In this film pupils at Lady Hawkins in Kington delve into the unusual history of their school, and how it was founded using money from slavery. Together with Head of Humanities Nic Dinsdale, who begins their tale for us, they鈥檝e written a book on how John Hawkins lived off the back of the transatlantic slave trade.
