Talons used to be called The Kites - and before that Oofats, and they're the brainchild of Oli Steels, who formed the band a number of years ago with one permanent member - himself! Over the next year or so Oofats saw more members come and go than you could shake a jumbo sized battered sausage at. Oofats (as they were originally called) were unleashed for the first time at a charity concert in the summer of 2004 playing various covers including a cream pie filled rendition of Electric Six's 'Gay Bar'. That thing with the horn Follow-up concerts were then scheduled and a demo recorded, featuring songs combining aspects of metal, blues and punk drawn from a variety of influences. Oofats then played at Hereford's three day 成人快手grown Festival with organiser Joe commenting: ''All I can say to that is...woah!'' An anonymous member of the audience was heard to say: ''That thing with the horn... that's the greatest thing I've ever seen!" To find out what 'that thing with the horn' is, you'll have to see Talons in concert yourself! You can listen to all the latest music from across the two counties on the Friday Session Introducing... every week from 7pm, on 成人快手 Hereford & Worcester.last updated: 01/10/2009 at 18:02 Have Your SayHave you seen Talons at a gig near you?
