The B of the Bang use guitars, mandolins, xylophones, accordians, harmonicas, drums and banjos - with some loops, feedback, singing and shouting for good measure!

Their leader, Wit, describes his music as "the aural equivalent of a David Lynch movie". Other attempts at pinning down his mercurial sound have included "like a spooky, cabaret-version of Franz Ferdinand in charge of the college music department" or "We're really just the sound of one man slowly losing his grip on reality."

The collective are scathing of unoriginal bands and therefore make the effort to sound "like nothing you've ever heard before" - but at the same time "sounding like everything else you'd ever want to hear."

They have a revolving line-up to keep things fresh.听 But sometimes they have too many instruments for the amount of musicians that turn up to perform.听 Wit says "this keeps things interesting!"听

Wit started off playing acoustically on his own.听 Then his university course mate, Jack, joined him, building the sound of the band with his musical talent on many instruments.听 Slowly more uni friends got involved resulting in the current collective.
