This is the traditional winter vegetable. 'Breeze' is a vigorous variety which produces good quality, tight buttons from mid- to late October. It shows good disease resistance making it ideal to grow on less fertil soils. Sow seeds in a prepared seed-bed from early March, or under cloches in February. Plant out in to their final growing positions from May to early June.
