This lovely astilbe is a dwarf variety that's great for a moist, shady spot in the rock garden or by the pond, with feathery plumes of tiny, densely clustered, dark pink flowers in late summer. Like all astilbes it rarely suffers from pests or diseases and can be relied upon to bring colour to the garden year after year. It has been given an Award of Garden Merit (AGM), which is for plants of outstanding excellence.
