Coffee plants are often grown as decorative indoor plants mainly for their foliage. Grown in a conservatory in containers the plants will flower and fruit, producing the red berry-like fruits which contain the coffee beans. Indoors that plants may only flower, bearing fragrant clusters of white blooms in late summer. Plant in loam-based potting compost in full light, but not direct sun.
