The perennial Heuchera 'Plum Pudding' is grown mainly for its leaves, whose pewter grey surfaces are suffused with undercurrents of deep purple. Delicate sprays of pinkish flowers appear in summer. Heucheras look especially good used around the edge of a border or grown in swathes with gold or silver variegated plants.
