This is one of the fastest maturing broad beans. It can produce up to 34 good pods per plant. 'Express' has several other winning qualities - it's winter hardy, outstanding for freezing, as it does not discolour, and it's particularly tender and tasty. The Royal Horticultural Society has given it its prestigious Award of Garden Merit (AGM).
