This evergreen grass has a long season of interest, and tolerates a wide range of conditions. Golden flower spikes shake in the breeze above dark foliage from June to August. The plant earns its keep well into winter. Old growth should be removed before new shoots appear in spring. The flower heads make an attractive addition to flower arrangements.
