These plants are great for adding colour to cool greenhouses and windowsills during spring. They produce brightly coloured flowers that last for several weeks if spent flowers are removed regularly. Some people are allergic to the hairs on the foliage of Primula obconica although the Twilly series has been especially developed without the primin in their hairs which usually causes irritation, so they should be safe to touch.
