A record of one of the greatest survival stories in the history of exploration, South is the original film, exquisitely photographed by pioneering photographer and film-maker Frank Hurley, of Shackleton鈥檚 1914-16 expedition to Antarctica, during which the ship, Endurance, was crushed by ice, stranding the crew.

Now considered the world鈥檚 first documentary feature, South is screened with a newly commissioned score by Neil Brand, performed live by members of the 成人快手 Concert Orchestra with conductor Hugh Brunt.
