Post-punk swagger

South London’s Fat White Family come to Glastonbury with a reputation for causing a racket. Their debut album, Champagne Holocaust, was released via Bandcamp in April 2013 with a crash, bang and wallop attracting attention for its post-punk swagger, unique sense of humour and politically charged sentiments.

The six-piece group, based in a pub in Brixton, have recently decided to swerve major label interest and set up their own label, Without Consent (named after one of their earlier tracks). Their date at Glastonbury is one of many festival commitments throughout 2014, with shows so far earning them a reputation as both dark and thrilling.
