Event Information
This seven-minute VR experience is a contemporary response to the First War World and takes the 鈥榝ield postcard鈥 as its inspiration. As one of the primary modes of communication used at this time, the 鈥榝ield postcard鈥 symbolises censorship of mail during World War 1 and helps brings to life the lesser-known stories of the 鈥楪reat War鈥 in this important centenary year. The piece transports audiences to two worlds - the hallways across the country with families and friends waiting quietly for news, and the unrestrained violence of the trenches.
This event is free but capacity is limited; places are available on a first-come-first-served basis on the day. The experience will be shown in 15-minute time slots: Saturday 12-8pm, Sunday 12-5pm.
Sign up at the Level G Studio from 11.30am. The minimum age for this experience is 13. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
