A series of farewells as Osmo V盲nsk盲 conducts the 成人快手 Symphony Orchestra in a programme concluding the season鈥檚 focus on Polish music and premiering Anthony Payne鈥檚 orchestration of Vaughan Williams鈥檚 Four Last Songs.

成人快手 Radio 3 New Generation Artists Ruby Hughes and Jennifer Johnston are the soloists, Hughes singing the three Polish texts of Henryk G贸recki鈥檚 鈥楽ymphony of Sorrowful Songs鈥�, Johnston singing Procris, Menelaus, Tired and Hands, Eyes and Heart in the Vaughan Williams.

Tchaikovsky鈥檚 鈥楶ath茅tique鈥� is the penultimate instalment of this summer鈥檚 cycle of his symphonies.
