Dub Colossus
Sun 30 Jun 2013 West Holts Stage
Dub from Addis Ababa

Combining dub music with the sounds of Addis Ababa, Dub Colossus is the project of Nick Page, also known as Dubulah and a founding member of Transglobal Underground.

After travelling to the Ethiopian capital in 2006 to gain sounds from local musicians and later back in England with members of Jamiroquai and Asian Dub Foundation, he created first album A Town Called Addis, unique in its combination of jazz and reggae with more traditional Ethiopian music. World tours featuring a four piece brass section followed, performing tracks including a much praised and radiant re-working of the classic Uptown Top Ranking by Althea and Donna.

Creating global excitement and the promise of a truly vibrant set, it's with open arms that Dub Colossus are welcomed back to the Glastonbury stage.
