Yorkshire quintet Marmozets head to Reading & Leeds off the back of a startling year for the hardcore, post-punk upstarts. Inspired by The Dillinger Escape Plan and The Mars Volta, the ‘family band’ (made up of brothers and a sister from two families), have performed at Download Festival, Slam Dunk, London’s Freeze Festival and recorded a session for Daniel P Carter’s Radio 1 Rock Show.
They’ve been keeping good company too. Following tours with Hyro Da Hero, The Used and Four Year Strong, the band head out with Young Guns, We Are The Crowd and Your Demise onthe Vans Off THe Wall tour later in 2012. Tipped for the top by the rock and metal know-it-alls, the frenetic Marmozets live show - led by vocalist Becca Macintyre - is ignored at your peril.
