Bristling with attitude, Midlands alt-rock quartet Max Raptor head to Reading & Leeds with plenty of experience of moving festival crowds to the brink of meltdown. Among the fleet of bands they’ve played alongside are Billy Talent, Blood Red Shoes, Oceansize, New Model Army and their heroes The Stranglers.
Having been together since 2006, Max Raptor are as assured on stage as they are on record dealing in heavy riff after heavy riff and intelligent narratives. Their debut mini album Portraits (featuring the anthemic track The King Is Dead) was released to critical acclaim alongside attention from ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Radio 1, NME, Kerrang! and XFM. A new album is planned for 2013.
