Sea songs, Fado and classic West End musicals: the ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Concert Orchestra comes to Great Yarmouth for a very special Friday Night Is Music Night – ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Radio 3’s legendary celebration of great tunes, good times and that unmistakable Friday feeling. And tonight, conductor George Jackson and the ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Concert Orchestra bring you an evening of music from home and away.

There’ll be hits from the West End musicals with singing sensation Rachel John, something new from the locally-based stars of Freshly Greated, plus a taste of fado with singer Zara Maia – the passionate popular song from Portugal. And naturally, there’ll be popular classics old and new, including The Dam Busters, the Champagne Polka and a whole squadron of British favourites inspired by land, air and sea – as well as a spotlight on one of the ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Concert Orchestra’s own stars, horn player Andrew Littlemore.
